Livelihood Support
Through research-backed and need-based intervention, the women are provided with emotional and psychological support to cope up with the trauma and move ahead in their lives. The TWEET Widow Adoption Program supports families who have lost their earning members and have no other means to fulfill their necessities. Through this program, TWEET adopts the whole family and provides them assistance in the education of children and other sustenance needs. It provides financial support to widows who do not have a social structure to rely on. This does not only help them to manage their necessities but also reduces the chance of their exploitation. Support provided to widows is continuous and long-term. Beneficiaries of widow support programs are also linked with other programs such as skill development programs to help them rehabilitate.
