For many girls in India from lower and middle-class backgrounds, the prospect of getting married often feels like an unattainable dream. This is primarily because of the substantial financial burdens associated with weddings and the prevailing social issues such as the dowry system. Additionally, orphaned girls face unique challenges when it comes to marriage, as they lack the support of their parents.
TWEET helps such poor families by providing them with marriage assistance funds. TWEET understand that financial constraints should not stand in the way of a young girl’s dream of a happy and secure marriage.
Family Counselling
Family Counseling is a central initiative of our organization. Given the prevalent issue of domestic abuse and gender discrimination in our society, it’s imperative to provide comprehensive counseling programs for those affected.
