To facilitate a better understanding of the Delhi Pension Scheme for Women in Distress, TWEET organized an educational event.

The Women’s Education and Empowerment Trust’s headquarters hosted a thought-provoking workshop for women under the guidance of Zain-ul-Haque, the National Coordinator of Nagrik Vikas Kendra. The resource person provided a comprehensive explanation of the Government of Delhi’s Pension Scheme for women, a crucial support system for those facing challenging circumstances.

The workshop covered detailed information about the widow’s pension and widow’s daughter marriage (WDM) programs, including an overview of various schemes. The eligibility criteria, benefits, and application procedures were clearly explained to the attendees. A total of 40 women participated in the session and actively engaged in the question-and-answer period.
