TWEET organizes single mother get-together at Vision Harmony Centre in Brijpuri, Delhi.

The single mothers who had unfortunately lost their life partners always need holistic approach in reviving and reintegrating in the society. To contribute to this significant cause, The Women Education and Empowerment Trust adopted single mothers as part of its ‘Widow Support Program’.

Shaista Rafat , General Secretary-TWEET, distributed financial assistance to the adopted mothers. She also conducted awareness session focusing on providing good nurture and parenting to the children and motivated the beneficiaries to regain their courage in integrating their lives and families. The single illiterate mothers were also encouraged to imbibe basic reading and writing skills. Total 25 mothers attended the program. Dr Sharnas Muthu, Treasure-TWEET did one on one counselling with attendees covering various socio-legal aspects.
