In honor of International Women’s Day, The Women Education & Empowerment Trust-TWEET hosted a gathering in Rampur, UP West, to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
The event’s chief guest was Dr. Baby Tabassum, a professor at Raza PG College Rampur, who shared her views in a speech. Nida Saher, a lecturer at Mohammad Ali Jauhar University, Miss Hala, an assistant professor at Mohammad Ali Jauhar University, and Dr. Hina Naqvi, a BUMS Aligarh, also spoke at the event.
The program was presided over by Anam Sahiba, the principal of Save Hand School, Momina Mizba, Azra Akhtar Sahiba, the head of Madarsa Chapta Colony Rampur, Mohtarma Ilma Zahid (President GIO UP West), and Dr. Aisha Zarri. A total of seventy-seven individuals from Rampur City attended the event.
Additionally, there was an open discussion on the theme “Create Access to Education,” as well as general awareness exercises and team-building activities focused on economic empowerment. Inspirational honors were awarded to the winners and women who have been working to advance the mission of educating and empowering women.
