More than 40 women participated and thanked TWEET for showing concern for them. With the active involvement of the resource persons, Nazneen Sultana, Rehana Yasmin Barbheriya, Makoni Begum, Monica Datta Choudhry, and Mahasweta Bhatacharya, who are educators at TSS, the get-together was an enlightenment for these mothers. Through an interactive session, the importance of good parenting was also highlighted. Answering a question posed by a few, the resource persons explained the importance of education and training, encouraged the mothers to put their wards in hostels, and assured them that this separation is in the best interest of their children.
The attendees also opened about their challenges and difficulties in an open session.
